Whaplode Manor

Whaplode Manor is a family-run wedding and events venue set in the heart of the Lincolnshire Fens near Spalding. Centered around a stunning 19th-century restored granary barn and established courtyard, it offers a warm, versatile space full of character, from a light-filled conservatory and traditional lounge to a vaulted gallery and spacious dancefloor.

For over 30 years, the same family has lovingly hosted weddings here, including their own - the first taking place when the barn had no roof, and most recently a third-generation celebration in 2023. With deep roots and a heartfelt connection to the venue, the team at Whaplode Manor offers a truly personal touch.

Whaplode Manor can accommodate up to 90 guests for an on-site civil ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 250 evening guests.

I just wanted to send a prompt note to say thank you SO much for everything you and your team did for my mum and I today.

The event went extremely well. Lots and lots of nice comments about the food. And the service. Mainly due to your two wonderful staff Julia and Theresa. They made things run smoothly. The food was excellent! Especially the Caesar Wraps - a wonderful way of presenting and building them! I thought it was just lettuce and chicken Caesar in a disposable bowl until I realised it was the tortilla that made the bowl! Amazing! Such a wonderful touch.

Everything was enjoyed by everyone.

I will owe you a little extra for cleaning down time but the ladies made such a great job of keeping everything tidy and leaving the kitchen space looking clean as a whistle.

Please pass on our sincere gratitude to everyone involved - especially you, who I believed prepared the food, and Theresa and Julia.
